How orders are shipped, delivered, and tracked across the ferkas.market marketplace.
1. Seller shipping obligations
Sellers must dispatch confirmed orders within the handling time displayed on the listing (default 1β2 business days). Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
Sellers must use a carrier that provides end-to-end tracking and delivery confirmation for the destination country. Untracked shipments are permitted only for items under USD 15 with the Buyer's express agreement at checkout.
Sellers must upload the carrier name and tracking number to the order within 24 hours of dispatch.
2. Delivery estimates & confirmation
Delivery estimates displayed at checkout are based on the Seller's handling time and the selected carrier's transit time. FERKA$ considers an order delivered when the carrier records "Delivered" or an equivalent status.
For items over USD 250, Sellers must use a shipping service that requires signature on delivery.
3. International shipping, duties & customs
Cross-border orders may be subject to import duties, VAT/GST, and customs clearance fees, which are the responsibility of the Buyer unless prepaid at checkout (DDP).
Sellers must provide accurate HS codes, item descriptions, and declared values on customs paperwork. Under-declaration of value is prohibited.
4. Lost, delayed, or damaged parcels
If tracking has not updated for 10 or more business days, the Buyer should contact the Seller. If unresolved within 3 business days, the Buyer may open a Buyer Protection claim.
For parcels declared lost by the carrier, the Seller is responsible for refunding the Buyer in full or shipping a replacement. The Seller may separately pursue a claim with the carrier.
Parcels damaged in transit are the Seller's responsibility toward the Buyer; the Seller may recover from the carrier under its shipping contract.
5. Address accuracy & undeliverable parcels
Buyers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. Parcels returned to the Seller due to an incorrect Buyer address may be re-shipped at the Buyer's cost or refunded net of shipping and return-shipping fees.
