Return & Refund Policy

Your right to return items, seller-set return windows, refund timelines, and category exceptions.
1. Marketplace default return window
The default return period across ferkas.market is 30 days from delivery. This applies unless the Seller has selected a different return window on the listing.
2. Seller-selected return windows
Sellers may choose one of the following return windows for their listings: 14 days, 30 days, or 60 days from delivery. The applicable window is displayed on the product page and in the order confirmation.
A Seller's chosen return window can never override a Buyer's statutory rights or the FERKA$ Buyer Protection Policy. Where the Buyer is entitled to a longer window under law or Buyer Protection (for example, for items not as described, damaged, wrong, counterfeit, or missing parts), the longer window applies.
3. Return eligibility & item condition
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, the item must be: unused, in original, resalable condition; in its original packaging with all tags, seals, manuals, and accessories; and free of Buyer-caused damage, odours, marks, or modifications.
Items that show signs of use, missing components, damaged retail packaging, or Buyer-applied stickers/engraving may be refused or refunded on a reduced (partial) basis reflecting the loss of value.
4. Return shipping responsibility
Change-of-mind returns: the Buyer pays return shipping unless the Seller has voluntarily offered free returns on the listing.
Seller-fault returns (INAD, damaged, wrong item, missing parts, counterfeit, defective within warranty): the Seller pays return shipping and must supply a prepaid return label or reimburse the tracked-return cost.
Returns must be sent back using a tracked service and the tracking number added to the return case; untracked returns that fail to arrive may be refused.
5. Refund timelines
Once the returned item is delivered to the Seller (or the Seller's designated return address), the Seller must inspect and confirm within 3 business days.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5β10 business days of inspection. Card-issuer processing may add up to a further 5 business days.
Where the Seller fails to inspect within 3 business days after delivery of the return, FERKA$ may issue the refund from held funds and debit the Seller's balance.
Original outbound shipping fees are refunded only when the return results from Seller fault (INAD, damaged, wrong item, defective, missing parts, counterfeit).
6. Category exceptions & non-returnable items
The following categories are non-returnable or subject to strict conditions and are marked as such on the listing:
β’ Used items β items sold clearly labelled as used or refurbished may be returned only for Seller fault (INAD, damaged, wrong item, counterfeit); change-of-mind returns are at the Seller's discretion.
β’ Damaged items β items sold as "damaged", "for parts", "salvage", or with disclosed cosmetic/functional defects are non-returnable for those disclosed defects.
β’ Customised or personalised products β items engraved, embroidered, monogrammed, made-to-order, cut-to-size, or otherwise customised for the Buyer are non-returnable, except for Seller fault.
β’ Hygiene-sensitive products β pierced jewellery, intimate apparel/swimwear once the hygiene seal is broken, cosmetics/skincare once opened, mattresses, bedding, and personal-care items are non-returnable once unsealed, except for Seller fault.
β’ Digital products β downloads, activation keys, streaming credits, e-books, software licences, and any digital content are non-returnable once the download has begun or the code has been revealed.
β’ Perishables, plants, flowers, and certain chemicals β non-returnable for safety and freshness reasons.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory statutory rights. Consumers in the UK/EU retain the 14-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts (subject to the exceptions permitted by law, which broadly align with the category exceptions above).
